What is a Virtual Walker?
The Virtual Walker option is for those who can't make it to the event but would still like to walk and raise funds for the event.

How do I sign up to be a Virtual Walker?
You can register to be a Virtual Walker on the registration page. Complete the registration from and select the the Virtual Walker option at the bottom of the form.

How do I use my link to raise money for Walk A Mile?
Once registration is completed, you will receive a personal link to raise funds for the event. Copy and paste the link to your social media profiles and encourage friends and family to click the link and donate money on your behalf.

Where do I park?
The Grant County Family YMCA has a large number of parking spots available for your use. Once those spots are taken, there is overflow parking available across the river. Come early to get a good spot!

How long will the walk last?
The walk will last approximately 30 minutes depending on how fast or slow you are able to walk.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, pets are welcome to participate in the walk. However, they will not be allowed inside the YMCA.

Is my donation tax decuctible?
Yes.

Will I get a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes. Online donations will be receipted to the email address you provide. Please keep this for tax purposes. Donations turned in at the office or on the day of the event will be receipted by mail within two weeks of the event.

Do I have to register online?
No. If you do not feel comfortable or are unable to register online, you can pick up a form at one of our stores or call the office and ask for LeeAnna Smith.
